1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the SilkRoad mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SilkRoad is a job management application for tradesmen and contractors, providing:

• Job scheduling and management
• Inventory tracking
• Estimate creation and invoicing
• Client relationship management
• Photo and document storage
• Payment processing integration

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content you upload to the App (photos, videos, notes, client data)
• You are solely responsible for content you add, including client information
• You must have the right to share any content you upload

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

• The App offers paid subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription fees are processed by Apple/Google
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple/Google policies

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Upload harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the operation of the App
• Resell or redistribute the App without authorization

8. Intellectual Property

• The App, including all content, design, and functionality, is owned by SilkRoad LLC
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written consent

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SilkRoad LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SilkRoad LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state of Massachusetts in which SilkRoad LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
